PEMBATALAN SPICE ISLANDS TRIATHLON 2026

Dengan penuh penyesalan, kami mengumumkan bahwa Spice Islands Triathlon 2026, yang semula dijadwalkan berlangsung pada **31 Oktober 2026, secara resmi **DIBATALKAN.

Keputusan ini diambil setelah mempertimbangkan perkembangan kondisi alam dan lingkungan di Maluku Utara dan sekitarnya, yang menjadi pertimbangan penting dalam mengevaluasi aspek keselamatan, kesehatan, serta kelancaran penyelenggaraan kegiatan olahraga luar ruang.

Keselamatan dan keamanan seluruh atlet, peserta, panitia, relawan, mitra, serta masyarakat merupakan prioritas tertinggi kami.

Kami memahami bahwa keputusan ini membawa kekecewaan, terutama bagi para atlet yang telah mempersiapkan diri, para mitra yang telah memberikan dukungan, serta seluruh pihak yang menantikan kesempatan untuk menikmati keindahan dan semangat olahraga di Bumi Rempah.

Namun, kami percaya bahwa semangat sportivitas juga berarti mengetahui kapan keselamatan harus didahulukan daripada kompetisi.

Kami menyampaikan permohonan maaf yang sebesar-besarnya atas ketidaknyamanan yang ditimbulkan, sekaligus mengucapkan terima kasih atas kepercayaan, antusiasme, dan dukungan luar biasa dari seluruh pihak.

Semangat Spice Islands Triathlon tidak akan padam. Kami berharap dapat kembali menyambut seluruh atlet dan pecinta olahraga di Maluku Utara pada kesempatan yang lebih baik dan dalam kondisi yang lebih aman.

SPICE ISLANDS TRIATHLON 2026 CANCELLATION

We regret to announce that **Spice Islands Triathlon 2026**, originally scheduled for **October 31, 2026, has been officially cancelled.**

This was not an easy decision. After carefully assessing the evolving environmental and natural conditions in North Maluku and the surrounding areas, we believe that cancelling this year’s event is the most responsible course of action.

**The safety and well-being of our athletes, participants, volunteers, organizing team, partners, and local communities will always come first.**

We know how disappointing this news is, especially for the athletes who have spent months training, our partners who have supported us along the way, and everyone who was looking forward to experiencing the beauty of the Spice Islands through sport.

We share your disappointment. But as much as we love the spirit of competition, we believe that no race is worth putting anyone’s safety at risk.

To everyone who has been part of this journey, we sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this decision may cause. Thank you for your understanding, trust, enthusiasm, and continued support.

The spirit of Spice Islands Triathlon remains strong, and we look forward to welcoming you back to North Maluku when the time is right and conditions are safe.
